🧙♂️Titles
Titles are the main avenue of progression for individual members of the Seer program!
Introduction to Titles
The title system serves as a progression metric for members of the Seer program who have made meaningful contributions to the Zeitgeist Ecosystem. All members are qualified to earn the 'Tier I' titles upon joining the program. Starting as an Acolyte when you join and progressing to a Seer after showing that you are here to stay and an active member of the community. After you have earned your Seer title, members are eligible to earn 'Tier II' titles that reflect the area of the Zeitgeist Ecosystem that they contribute to specifically. Members can earn multiple 'Tier II' titles by contributing to multiple areas. Today there are only 3 'Tier II' titles to earn, but keep your eyes open as there may be more 'Tier II' titles added as the need arises!
Tier I Titles
Acolyte
A role given to new members of the Seer program who have just begun their journey. Acolytes are community members who have expressed an interest in becoming more involved in the Zeitgeist community by joining the Seer program. These members have just begun their journey in the Seer program and are able to become Seers by simply being active and integrating themselves into the Zeitgeist Community
Seer
The Seer title is given to Acolytes who have been active in the community by attending community calls, staying active within the Discord, and generally engaging with events related to the Zeitgeist ecosystem. This is the base layer title for someone who is not only interested in participating in the Seer program, but has shown that they are truly committed to contributing towards the Zeitgeist ecosystem in a meaningful fashion.
Tier II Titles
Content Curator
This title is designed to help distinguish members of the Seer Program that create content related to Zeitgeist. This is for the exceptional artists, video creators, and writers who use their skills to create within the Zeitgeist Ecosystem.
Herald
The Herald title is earned by spreading the word of Zeitgeist to the globe. This title is reserved for members who specialize in spreading the word about Zeitgeist to their local communities, Web3-based communities, Twitter, Discords, blogs, and discussing Zeitgeist in our own community channels or other community-driven platforms.
Community Dev
The Community Dev title is earned by submitting technical contributions to the Zeitgeist ecosystem. This title is reserved for members of the Seer program who are developing technologies on or for Zeitgeist. This can be earned by building applications utilizing the Zeitgeist SDK, completing technical bounties, building tools for the Zeitgeist Ecosystem, or by contributing directly to the Zeitgeist Github.
Specialized Titles
Scryer
The Scryer title is earned by distinguishing yourself as having an above-average knowledge of prediction markets and their mechanics. Members of the Seer program can earn this title by joining the 'Scryer's Club'. The Scryer's Club is a group of Seer program members who specialize in creating, deploying and executing prediction markets on the Zeitgeist app. Additionally, these members are here to help the broader community understand the finer nuances of prediction markets and contribute to the successful deployment of community-sourced prediction markets by offering their knowledge and assisting potential market creators in their deployment of markets on the Zeitgeist app. This title also creates an extra layer of validity for members of the community who wish to be part of the 'AdvisoryCommittee' and help to approve/deny 'Advised' Markets on-chain.
Vanguard
The Vanguard title is earned by contributing directly to the Seer program itself. Members of the Seer program who have this title have assisted in planning, building, or running different aspects of the Seer program. This title has been distributed to some of the earliest supporters of the Seer program who participated in early events during the Seer Program Beta.
Head Ambassador
The Head Ambassador title is reserved for members of the Seer program who have emerged and distinguished themselves as leaders within their local communities, while also directly contributing to community initiatives throughout the Zeitgeist ecosystem. These members are part of a small group who help determine the next steps of the Seer program, help in localized event scenarios, manage community Twitters for their respective languages, and help source and manage translations for their respective languages.
