🎓Zeitgeist Seer Program: Getting started

Hello and welcome to the Zeitgeist Seer program!

The Zeitgeist Seer Program was created to build a community in which everyone has the opportunity to grow and help shape the Zeitgeist Ecosystem. Directly progressing the implementation of Prediction Markets and Futarchy in everyday life, The Seer Program stands as a bastion of the greater Zeitgeist community.

Getting started

Hey, our future Acolytes and Seer Prospects! Joining the Seer program is a unique opportunity to work with other like-minded individuals, provides access to resources and materials to help you create or develop, and gives you a line of communication with members of the Zeitgeist team. Many events and initiatives will be run throughout the program, all geared towards expanding the Zeitgeist ecosystem. Those who prove themselves as active contributors will be distinguished among their peers by earning titles.

How to Join

1. Join the Zeitgeist Discord server here

2. Navigate to the '✍│seer-onboarding' channel under the Seer Program category.

3. React to the message in that channel to obtain your 'Acolyte' title.

4. Navigate to the '🧙│meet-the-seer' and fill out the meet the seer template to introduce yourself.

After following those steps you are officially part of The Seer Program. Now it is up to you to get involved further and start progressing as a member. Be sure to continue reading about the program here and make sure you understand the different aspects of the program.

The Member Progression page contains information about how to contribute and progress throughout the program. Also, you should check out the other pages to learn more about the more unique subjects within the program like the Scryer Club.

How to get Titles

There are so many ways to get involved in our Seer Program and get yourself even more than one Title!

Generally speaking, all you have to do is create the types of content you are good at, simply enjoy what you do, and help your localized communities grow.

Contributions that can get you Content Curator Title:

• Educational videos and guides

• Educational short videos and GIFs

• Original and high-quality articles and blog posts

• High-quality Twitter threads

• Prediction market-related infographics and designs

• Other types of educational content

Contributions that can get you a Herald Title:

• High-quality Twitter threads explaining Zeitgeist and Prediction Markets

• Valuable suggestions on how to improve Seer Program workflow

• Original and authentic translations into your mother tongue

• Curating our localized Discord channels

• Spreading the word about Zeitgeist and Prediction Markets within and beyond our project

Contributions that can get you a Community Dev Title:

• Building applications utilizing the Zeitgeist SDK

• Completing technical bounties

• Building tools for the Zeitgeist Ecosystem

• Contributing directly to the Zeitgeist Github

Contributions that can get you a Scryer Title:

• Having and showing an above average knowledge of Prediction Markets and their mechanics

• Actively getting involved with the Zeitgeist App - creating, deploying, and executing Prediction Markets

• Educating and engaging community members on the Zeitgeist App by offering your knowledge and assisting potential market creators in their deployment of markets on the Zeitgeist App

Contributions that can get you a Vanguard Title:

• You are an early supporter of the Seer program

• Planning, building, or running different aspects of the Seer program
